Eligibility Criteria

1. Eligibility criteria for admission in B.A./B.Sc (Hons./ Hons. with Res.) in Major (4 years)

Candidates passing Higher Secondary Examination conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent board/council in the year (2021/2022/2023) are eligible to apply for Major course in 1. Bengali, 2. English, 3. Sociology 4. Geology provided that the candidate must have passed in 5(Five) recognized subjects including at least one language subject with at least 45% marks in aggregate or 50% marks in subjects or related subjects in the qualifying examination.

The following table shows the subjects or allied subjects required for admission in Hons. Courses:

              2.  Eligibility criteria for admission in B.A./ B.Sc. in Multidisciplinary Studies (3 yrs)

Candidates passing Higher Secondary Examination conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or any other equivalent Board/Council in the year 2021/2022/2023 are eligible to apply for Bachelor course with subjects 1. Bengali, 2. English, 3. Philosophy, 4. History (B.A. in Multidisciplinary Studies) provided that the candidate must have passed in 5(Five) recognized subjects including at least one language subject.

Candidates passed the Vocational Course can apply in 3 year Multidisciplinary Bachelor in arts Course only

A CANDIDATE PASSING 10+2 LEVEL BEFORE 2021 WITH ABOVE MENTIONED CRITERIA CAN ALSO APPLY THROUGH ONLINE MODE AFTER GETTING SPECIAL PERMISSION FROM THE SECRETARY, U.G. COUNCIL VIDYASAGAR UNIVERSITY.

N.B .: Admission into any course under this College is not complete unless and until a candidate is registered under the Vidyasagar University through this College. Any suppression of facts, false statements, if revealed in future will lead to the cancellation of admission.
